New
shortwave station from Myanmar heard on 7110 kHz
A new station from Myanmar (Burma)
has been logged broadcasting on 7110 kHz shortwave.
Indian DXer Babul Gupta reports that the station
identifies as Thazin Broadcasting Station. Thazin
BS announces a schedule of three daily transmissions.
At 2330-0130 UTC Thazin can be heard on 639 and
6030 kHz, at 0430-0630 UTC on 639 and 9400 kHz,
and at 1030-1430 UTC on 639 and 7110 kHz. The evening
broadcast on 7110 kHz has been reported widely heard
by DXers in Asia, Europe and North America.
