Ari Kilponen (ARK), Finland

Ari Kilponen lives in Oulu in Northern Finland. Currently he is retired.

DXing has been Ari's main hobby since 1975 and he has verifications from 154 countries and over 700 stations. North and Central America as well as the Pacific are his main DX targets.

Ari is regular visitor of DXpedition sites deep in the Lapland: he has been listening there almost every winter since 1984. At home Ari is hunting DX stations with pretty good antenna facilities: four beverage antennas between 500 and 1000 meters beamed to North America and one antenna of 320 meters beamed to Asia/the Pacific.
