Degen 1108

Just wondering if there is anyone else as fired up about the Degen 1108 as much as I am? It is all but sold if they really do roll it out at the end of 2006.

You can read the stats at http://www.radiointel.com (one of my favorite pages). Look for it currently along the left side about 1/2 down the page. Excuse the roughness, someone had to translate the features from Chinese.

Grundig Satellit 800 with 100' Random Wire, 9:1 Balun is my main rig listening here in the Pacific Northwest US.

Adam:
I'm definitely eager to see what features it has and at what price it will be sold. There's an '1108 Yahoo group, where a few users are posting messages about growing impatient due to not hearing anything from the manufacturer for quite a long time.

Radiointel is a favorite of mine too. According to a photo caption on this page:

the same engineer who made the Ham 2000 (aka Grundig Satellit 800), DE1103, DE1106 (aka Eton E5) is working on the DE1108. Everyone surely has high expectations.
